This is a 2 piece Civil War dress/gown. It is made of 100% cotton quilters fabric. It is a beautiful natural background with a small navy print cotton. It is accented with navy plaid ribbon and mother of Pearl buttons.

The bodice has a lovely jewel neckline with dropped shoulders and pagoda styled sleeves. It 4 darts in front with princess seams in the back, for the perfect fit. It is fully lined and closes down the front with mother of pearl buttons. The front and back of the bodice is finished with ribbon in a square design. The sleeves have a flat row of ribbon and a row of hand pleated ribbon.

The skirt is a full 180 inches around and has been hemmed to approimately 44 inches. It has been handpleated onto a matching waistband and closes in the back with hooks and eyes. It has a full row of ribbon toward the hemline and 12 upward points.

The gown, itself, measures waist of 30 inches with a bust of 38 inches
