This is a 2 piece Civil War dress/gown. It is made of 100% cotton quilters fabric. It is a beautiful natural background with a small navy print cotton. It is accented with navy plaid ribbon.

The bodice has a lovely jewel neckline with dropped shoulders and pagoda styled sleeves. It 4 darts in front with princess seams in the back, for the perfect fit. It is fully lined and closes down the front with hidden hooks and eyes down the front. . The front and back of the bodice is finished with ribbon in a square design. The sleeves have two rows of ribbon. It has sleeve jockeys that hang gracefully over the sleeves and are trimmed with ribbon, also.

The skirt is extra full. The bottom tier is 360 inches around, the middle tier is 270 inches around and the top tier is 180 inches around and has been hemmed to approimately 44 inches. It has been handpleated onto a matching waistband and closes in the back with hooks and eyes. It has a full row of ribbon toward the hemline and 12 upward points.

The gown, itself, measures waist of 34 inches with a bust of 42 inches
