This military inspired plus sized Civil War dress is a 2 piece Civil War dress/gown. It has basic styling that can be dressed up with collars, cuffs, or a belt. It can also be dressed down with an apron to look more like a work gown. It is made of 100% cotton, quilters fabric.

It is a beautiful cotton plaid of brown, black and ivory. It is accented with an ivory, wide braid that has antique beasts covered studs/buttons.

The bodice has a lovely jewel neckline with dropped shoulders and Pagoda styled sleeves. It has darts in front with princess seams in the back, for the perfect fit. It is fully lined and closes down the front with Hidden hooks and eyes. The hemline has been hand finished. The sleeves have 2 rows of matching braid, as does the front.

The skirt is a extra full 180inches around and has been hemmed to approximately 44 inches. It has been hand pleated onto a matching waistband and closes in the back with hooks and eyes. It has a row of black braid toward them hemline. It is accented with matching trims in the shape of X.

The gown, itself, measures waist of 40 inches with a bust of 48 inches .
