Hunter Green w/Navy Diamond Design Civil War Dress-32

It is a 2 piece Civil War dress/gown so that you may mix and match the pieces with other items in your wardrobe.

It is beautiful huntergreen cotton with navy blue accents done in a Diamond pattern. The hunter green bodice has handpleated and flat navy blue grosgrain ribbon. It is accented mother of Pearl buttons.

The bodice has a lovely jewel neckline with dropped shoulders and Pagoda styled sleeves. It 4 darts in front with princess seams in the back, for the perfect fit. It is fully lined and closes down the front with mother of Pearl buttons. The hemline has been hand finished. The sleeves have a diamond design of matching ribbon, as does the bodice.

The skirt is an extra full 180 inches around and has been hemmed to approximately 44 inches. It has been hand pleated onto a matching waistband and closes in the back with hooks and eyes. It has the diamond pattern continued on the skirt.

I included an original shot where I got the diamond design of the skirt. It used both flat ribbon and pleated or gathered ribbon, so I used both as well.

Please excuse the fit, it is slightly too small for my dummy.

The gown, itself, measures waist of 32 inches with a bust of 40 inches .
