This 2 piece ensemble is made of a rich, chocolate cotton mixed with a stripe in browns, tans, and burgundy. It is accented with cotton braid to pull out the neutrals in the stripe.

The bodice has a lovely square neckline with pagoda styled sleeves, which are accented with 2 rows of cotton braid. It has a slight peplum effect to the hemline that hangs gracefully over the skirt. The pstriped inset, turned on its side, creates the appearance of a faux vest. It closes in the front with matching wood buttons. It is fully lined. The hemline has been hand finished.

The skirt is a full 180 inches around. It is handpleated onto a matching waistband and closes with hooks and eyes. It is hemmed to about 44 inches and was hand hemmed.

The gown, itself, measures waist: 36 inches with a bust of 44 inches
