3 piece,Civil War ballgown made of 100% silk in a gold and rose brocade. It is one of those elegant fabrics that does not need adornments. It has a simple elegance that is hard to find.

Includes: ballgown bodice, bodice & 3 tiered skirt

The ball gown bodice has an slight on the shoulder fit with full puffed sleeves. The neckline sits on the edge of the shoulder. The sleeves are the short, full, puffed sleeves. The hemline has a deep v shape in the front and a narrower one in the back. It has been hand finished. It closes with hooks and eyes in the back. The puffed sleeves have been gathered onto sleeve bands.

The bodice has nice wide pagoda styled sleeves. It has dropped shoulders, also. It has points in both the front and back, that hang gracefully over the skirt. it closes down the fron tier design, with the bottom tier being 360 inches arount with hidden hooks and eyes.

The skirt is a luxurious 240 inches around. It is hemmed to approximately 44 inches long and is pleated onto a matching waistband.

The gown, itself, measures waist of 38 inches with a bust of 46 inches
